Bike Safety
Every child who rides a bike should:
1. Start early enough to arrive on time without rushing.
2. Keep both hands on the bars, except when signaling a turn or stop.
3. Never carry additional riders.
4. Observe all traffic signs and directions given by safety patrol.
5. Look in all directions when crossing intersections, leaving a driveway or parking place.
6. Never "hitch" on a moving vehicle.
7. Give pedestrians the right of way.
8. Kindergarten children should not ride their bikes to school.
9. Students may ride their bicycles to school. Once on the school grounds, they are to walk their bikes to the racks provided. We encourage them to lock their bikes in the racks.
