SCHOOL CLOSING OR DELAYED START DUE TO BAD WEATHER

If school is cancelled or a delayed start of school is required, the decision will be announced by 6:00 a.m. on the local radio station and local television. If a delayed start is implemented, all school starting times will be ninety (90) minutes later. Also, school bus stops will be approximately ninety (90) minutes later.

The following radio and television stations will be giving information regarding school closures, delayed starts and early dismissals:

KRLN (1400) AM or (103.9) FM

KOAA (Channel 5) KKTY (Channel 11) and KRDO (Channel 13)

Channel 19 Cablevision

If no report is given, it can be assumed that school will be held on regular sessions. Patrons are asked not to call the school or district office. Telephone lines must be kept open for emergencies.
